Acepoint provides professional counseling at no cost to youβ fully covered through your DOL/OWCP workers' compensation claim.
Why Patients Choose Us
Why Acepoint?
There are a lot of counselors out there. Here's what makes us different.
We Know Your World
We work exclusively with injured federal employees in the DOL/OWCP system. We understand the bureaucracy, the frustration, and the unique pressures you face β because it's all we do.
No Pressure. No Paperwork Upfront.
We start with a simple phone call β just you telling us your story. No forms, no obligations. If we're a good fit, we guide you through every step of getting started.
Private, Online, on Your Schedule
Every session happens over secure video β on your phone, tablet, or computer β from the privacy of your home. No commutes, no waiting rooms, no disruption to your recovery.
No Out of Pocket Costs
Counseling through Acepoint does not require any out-of-pocket costs to you. The Counseling itself is 100% covered when officially part of your worker's compensation claim. At Acepoint Counseling there are no hidden fees, no copays, and no billing surprises. (If you do not already have an accepted psychiatric diagnosis, a PhD psychologist or MD psychiatrist may charge you for the psych evaluation and report to submit to the DOL to make it part of your accepted cases.)
Experienced, Counseling Professionals
All Acepoint Counselors are either seasoned Licensed Professional Counselors (LPCs) or Licensed Clinical Social Workers (LCSWs) who have chosen to specialize in helping people just like you rebuild their mental and emotional wellbeing.
As Long as You Need Us
Emotional Healing isn't a sprint β it can take months or years. There are no arbitrary session limits. As long as you have an open OWCP psych case, we'll be here with you for as long as your healing journey takes.

Who We Are
About Acepoint Counseling
A workplace injury doesn't just hurt your body β it can shake your confidence, your identity, and your sense of what the future holds.
Acepoint Counseling was built specifically for injured federal employees navigating the DOL/OWCP system. We understand the unique stress of your situation β the paperwork, the waiting, the uncertainty β and we are here to help you stay mentally strong through all of it.
Our counseling is provided at no cost to patients who have an accepted DOL/OWCP case with a qualifying psychiatric diagnosis such as Depression or Anxiety. Pre-existing conditions that were worsened by your injury are also covered.
If you do not yet have an accepted psychiatric diagnosis, you will likely need to pay a Licensed Psychologist or MD Psychiatrist to do a psychological evaluation of your current mental/emotional state as part of your on the job injury. In many cases, we can help you locate someone to do the psych eval for you. One of your DOL/OWCP Medical Providers will need to submit the evaluation to the Department of Labor to become an accepted part of your diagnoses. Once you have an βaccepted psych diagnosisβ with the DOL, please reach out to us to begin the counseling intake process.
Federal Employees, Exclusively
We don't try to serve everyone. Our entire practice is focused on injured federal employees in the DOL/OWCP system β so you're never explaining your situation to someone who doesn't understand it.
Fully Online
Sessions happen via secure video on any device, from anywhere you feel comfortable β as long as you and your counselor are in the same state.
Seasoned Licensed Counselors
Every Acepoint counselor is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with real-world experience helping people through exactly what you're facing.
Pre-existing Conditions Covered
If depression or anxiety existed before your injury but was made worse by it, that's still part of your claim. You don't have to start over to get help.
